The story of Huerto Azul (“Blue Orchard”) started in long winter days south of the globe, old recipes of fruit and sugar simmering in the wooden stove, in the midst of family tradition and entertaining friends who incited the opening of new jars of jams from the kitchen cupboard. The jams were firstly made for the consumption of the family, then for friends, and ten years ago, an artisan factory was born, producing marmalade, jam, fruit juice, sauces (salad dressings, o seasoning-aliños), Belgium artisan chocolate and Italian artisan ice-cream to stock our four shops in Villarrica and Pucon, as well as supermarkets and Gourmet shops of the country.
